Coronavirus Outbreak

If you need an appointment or urgent advice, call the surgery and we will arrange for a GP to call you back.

Due to COVID-19 we ask that patients do not come into the practice due to the risk of infection, so please call the practice first.

After 18:30, if you have COVID-19 symptoms use NHS 111 at 111.nhs.uk. Only call 111 if you can’t get help online.

All appointments at Chalfont Surgery from 16 March 2020 will initially be a telephone consultation with a clinician until further notice.

Important information about the coronavirus (COVID-19)

The NHS in London and Public Health England (PHE) are well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

The latest information on symptoms of Coronavirus infection and areas where recent travel may have resulted in a high risk of exposure can be found here.

  • You think you might have coronavirus
  • If you have a new continuous cough
  • You have a high temperature

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Call 111 if you need to speak to someone.

If you need an isolation note for your employer, please follow the steps on 111.nhs.uk.
